Marco Gantenbein, Managing Partner at Swiss Insurance Partners, is an insurance specialist with extensive knowledge and experience of international health insurance solutions. After completing Zurich Business School and training at a leading Swiss insurance company, he lived and worked abroad. Upon returning to Switzerland, he worked for many years as an insurance consultant in both the private and business sectors. During that time he received his Swiss Federal Insurance Diploma and in addition to managerial experience he acquired considerable expertise in complex insurance solutions for private and business clients. Marco Gantenbein is the author of many articles on international health insurance which have been published in the Swiss and international media. He is also a speaker on that topic on conferences worldwide. Mr. Gantenbein is also the editor and a co-author of “Swiss Annuities and Life Insurance: Secure Returns, Asset Protection, and Privacy”, the most important reference book in the field of Swiss Annuities. And one of the co-authors of the Switzerland Business & Investment Handbook. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and holds an unrestricted license from the Swiss Government to act as an independent insurance consultant and broker. Mr. Gantenbein is fluent in German, English and French.

Nadia Burkhalter is Office Manager at Swiss Insurance Partners and has many years of international experience in the insurance sector, with special competence in product and brand marketing. Her apprenticeship was served in life insurance with a leading Swiss insurance company located in Neuchâtel, after which she spent 17 years in the marketing division of a prominent international foods company. In 2004 Ms. Burkhalter returned to the insurance sector, working as a sales assistant in the international division of the largest specialist Swiss life insurance company. After spending 4 years in this role she took the opportunity to become involved in the expansion of Swiss Insurance Partners. Her native language is French and she also speaks fluent German, English and Spanish.

Melanie Lioi, Director of Swiss Insurance Partners, is a specialist in international and national health and accident insurance. She worked as a private client adviser for Switzerland’s largest health insurance company for many years. After moving to the company’s headquarters in Zurich, she was responsible for building up the collective care business, which has remained a strategically important channel of the company. As a Key Account Manager, she also developed individual solutions for cooperation partners and companies. During this time, she successfully acquired her diploma as a qualified Swiss sales manager. Melanie Lioi speaks fluent German and English.

Robert Ferfecki is a communication expert with broad knowledge in all areas of marketing and corporate communications.

He completed his marketing studies in Zurich and Los Angeles and worked as an account executive in international communications agencies. He was then employed by a leading Swiss bank, where in the private banking department he was responsible sponsoring projects in the sports and culture sector as well as for special events for the executive board. In 2007 he joined SIP, where he is in charge of marketing and corporate communications. Mr. Ferfecki is fluent in German, English, French and Czech.

Dr. Wouter H. Muller is a lawyer with broad international experience in the private banking and trust business and serves as the firm’s General Counsel.

After obtaining his doctorate in civil law at the Law School of Groningen University in 1971, he worked as a solicitor in the Netherlands for 10 years. He then joined a Dutch merchant bank in the Netherlands and Luxembourg, becoming a director of their Luxembourg trust company and subsequently managing director of their trust company in the Netherlands Antilles. He then became director of a private bank in Luxembourg, where his responsibilities included trust operations. After this, Dr. Muller joined the bank's Zurich office and was later appointed managing director of the trust office in Zug. He joined SIP as a Board Member and General Counsel in 2006. Dr. Muller is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). He is fluent in English, Dutch, German and French.

Dr. André Herrmann is a specialist in expatriate planning and focuses on international health insurance.

Having lived and worked for many years in Spain and Latin America, he has acquired a wealth of expertise in all issues concerning expatriates, especially in international health insurance and relevant questions of cross-border planning. He has published numerous articles on these topics in the Swiss and international media, where he is frequently quoted. He is also a lecturer in Spanish language and culture at the University of Zurich. As a Member of the Board of Swiss Insurance Partners AG, he focuses specifically on the company's public relations and media issues, in particular overseeing all its publishing activities. Dr. Herrmann is fluent in German, French, English and Spanish.

Maehala R. Nathan is an insurance specialist with extensive expertise and experience in international health insurance solutions.

Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, she completed her secondary education in New Zealand and went on to study science at the University of Auckland. After graduating, she traveled extensively in Asia and Europe and finally settled in Switzerland, where she married. Over the last 6 years she has specialized in international health insurance as well as Swiss annuities and life insurance for global clients. Ms. Nathan is a member of the International Financial and Legal Network (IFLN) and holds an unrestricted license from the Swiss Government to act as an independent insurance consultant and broker. She is fluent in English, Malay, Indonesian and German.
